CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower on energy, materials drop
TORONTO Jan 27 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened lower on Wednesday with the heavily weighted energy sector dragged down as oil prices were pressured by a firmer dollar.
At 9:30 a.m. (1430 GMT) the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 37.30 points, or 0.33 percent, at 11,323.89. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; Editing by Jeffrey Hodgson)
