CANADA STOCKS-TSX falls on resources, but banks, RIM rally

TORONTO, Jan 27 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index finished lower on weak resources on Wednesday, staving off a late-session rally by Research In Motion RIM.TO and financial shares.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 24.88 points, or 0.22 percent, at 11,336.31. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Rob Wilson)
