CANADA STOCKS-TSX stumbles 1 percent as commodities slide

TORONTO Jan 29 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index sank 1 percent on Friday, pressured by weak commodity prices after stronger than expected U.S. economic data sparked a rally in the greenback.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 113.21 points, or 1.0 percent at 11,160.99. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Rob Wilson)
