CANADA STOCKS-TSX little changed, golds offset Suncor

TORONTO Feb 2 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened higher on strength in golds, but quickly lost its gains on disappointing quarterly results from Suncor Energy (SU.TO: Quote).

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was 0.29 of a point lower at 11,317.26 shortly after the open. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Peter Galloway)
