CANADA STOCKS-TSX rises for 6th straight session

TORONTO, Feb 17 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock market index finished higher for a sixth straight session on Wednesday as rosy U.S. housing data and retreating worries about European debt lifted bank shares.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 46.31 points, or 0.40 percent, at 11,632.68. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Peter Galloway)
