CANADA STOCKS-TSX up for 7th straight session,led by golds

TORONTO Feb 18 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock market index finished higher for a seventh straight session on Thursday, led by gold mining shares, which got a boost from firmer gold prices and better than expected results from Barrick Gold (ABX.TO: Quote).

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 59.30 points, or 0.51 percent, at 11,694.79. (Reporting by John McCrank; editing by Peter Galloway)
