CANADA STOCKS-TSX drops 1 pct on US consumer confidence data
TORONTO Feb 23 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock market index accelerated its decline on Tuesday morning after the U.S. consumer confidence index fell sharply, deepening concern about the strength of the U.S. economic recovery.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE dropped 118.12 points, or 1.02 percent, to 11,516.63. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Peter Galloway)
