CANADA STOCKS-TSX ticks higher at open ahead of Bernanke
TORONTO Feb 24 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index was up slightly on Wednesday at the open, cautious ahead of Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke's semiannual congressional testimony on monetary policy and the state of the economy.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE opened up 3.1 points, or 0.03 percent, at 11,529.81. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; Editing by Jeffrey Hodgson)
