CANADA STOCKS-TSX turns positive on banks, gold
TORONTO Feb 25 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index turned positive on Thursday morning as better-than-expected quarterly profits at two big banks lifted financials, while a rise in gold-mining issues helped to offset weakness from energy shares.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 0.77 of a point at 11,522.60. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Peter Galloway)
