CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher on firmer commodites

TORONTO, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened higher on Friday as firm gold and oil prices propped up heavily weighted commodity producers.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE opened up 17.31 points, or 0.15 percent, at 11,648.75. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; editing by Peter Galloway)
