CANADA STOCKS-TSX ends lower as gold prices weaken

 TORONTO, March 8 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock market
index slipped on Monday after touching its highest in eight
weeks as weaker bullion prices weighed on gold miners.
 The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed
down 14.24 points, or 0.12 percent, at 11,960.90.
