CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower on weak commodity prices
TORONTO, March 9 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index stumbled at the open on Tuesday as a stronger U.S. dollar weighed on oil and gold prices, pushing down heavily weighted resource shares.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE opened 44.13 points, or 0.37 percent, lower at 11,919.71. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
