CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower on U.S., China data
TORONTO, March 11 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock market index fell at the open on Thursday as resource prices slipped and economic data from the United States and China spurred a return of worry about the stability of the economic recovery.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE opened 23.83 points, or 0.2 percent, lower at 11,937.23. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
