CANADA STOCKS-TSX up on higher resource shares, Potash
TORONTO, March 12 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock market index opened higher on Friday as resource issues climbed and shares of Potash Corp of Saskatchewan (POT.TO: Quote) rose sharply after it raised its earnings forecast.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE opened 25.10 points, or 0.2 percent, higher at 12,004.80. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
