CANADA STOCKS-Potash stocks lead TSX higher
TORONTO, March 12 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index ended higher on Friday, hanging on to recent gains as strength among base metal miners and potash producers was offset by weakness in energy and gold stocks.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 14.29 points, or 0.12 percent, at 11,993.99. (Reporting by Cameron French; editing by Rob Wilson)
