CANADA STOCKS-Potash stocks lead TSX higher

TORONTO, March 12 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index
ended higher on Friday, hanging on to recent gains as strength
among base metal miners and potash producers was offset by
weakness in energy and gold stocks.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
.GSPTSE unofficially closed up 14.29 points, or 0.12 percent,
at 11,993.99.
