CANADA STOCKS-TSX rises broadly as resources climb
TORONTO, March 25 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index rose at the open on Thursday as a softer U.S. dollar helped to push up the price of oil and gold, lifting the resource-laden market.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE rose 46.62 points, or 0.39 percent, to 12,009.59 at the open. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; Editing by Jeffrey Hodgson)
