CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher on resources, RIM weighs
TORONTO, April 1 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened higher on Thursday on firm gold and energy prices, but disappointing results from technology bellwether Research In Motion RIM.TO RIMM.O tempered the gains.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE opened up 29.27 points, or 0.24 percent, at 12,067.00
