CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower; energy and financials down
TORONTO, April 7 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened lower on Wednesday as slipping oil prices and a return to risk-averse market sentiment weighed on energy and banking shares.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE fell 14.96 points, or 0.12 percent, to 12,141.75 at the open. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney, editing by Peter Galloway)
