CANADA STOCKS-TSX slides with oil and banks

TORONTO, April 7 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index fell for a second straight session on Wednesday, pulled down in a broad selloff that was led by the energy and banking groups, while firm golds offset a portion the losses.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 38.54 points, or 0.32 percent, at 12,118.17. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Peter Galloway)
