CANADA STOCKS-TSX flat, claws back from big drop

TORONTO, April 8 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index ended flat on Thursday, reversing deep losses, as oil prices pared early declines and optimism grew about the global recovery.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially finished off 0.44 of a point at 12,110.46. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; Editing by Jeffrey Hodgson)
