CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower on soft commodity prices
TORONTO, April 16 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened lower on Friday, driven by a dip in commodity prices as investors worried about the outlook for demand in the United States and China.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE opened 43.20 points, or 0.35 percent, lower at 12,168.32. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney, editing by Peter Galloway)
