CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher on firm commodities

TORONTO, April 20 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened higher on Tuesday as commodity prices rose and strong U.S. company results boosted risk appetite.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 12.66 points, or 0.1 percent, at 12,115.63. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney, editing by Peter Galloway)
