CANADA STOCKS-TSX edges lower in early trade on Greece
TORONTO, April 23 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index was lower shortly after the open on Friday as Greece's request for financial aid failed to soothe investor worries over the outlook for the beleaguered euro zone member, pressuring commodity prices.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 5.59 points at 12,155.28. It opened a touch higher. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney, editing by Peter Galloway)
