CANADA STOCKS-Ebbing European fears, solid earnings lift TSX
TORONTO, April 29 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index rose on Thursday, recouping some of losses of the previous two sessions, as fears over the fragility of sovereign debt in the euro zone ebbed and company earnings reports came in strongly.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 135.84 points, or 1.12 percent, at 12,212.73, with nine of its 10 sectors advancing. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Peter Galloway)
