CANADA STOCKS-TSX falls hard on oil slide, Greece worries
TORONTO, May 4 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index closed sharply lower on Tuesday, weighed down by persistent worries about Greece's aid package, which sent investors to the safety of the U.S. dollar and hit oil prices.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 165.52 points, or 1.36 percent, at 12,030.99, managing to recover somewhat from a near 2 percent fall earlier. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Rob Wilson)
