CANADA STOCKS-TSX falls, cuts deep afternoon losses
TORONTO, May 6 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index closed lower on Thursday, but cut a near-4 percent intraday loss, hit by a drop in U.S. crude oil futures and worries that the Greek debt crisis may widen to other euro-zone countries.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE shed 51.39 points, or 0.43 percent, to 11,823.74. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; Editing by Jeffrey Hodgson)
