CANADA STOCKS-TSX slips with weakening oil

TORONTO, May 13 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock market index slid at the open on Thursday in a broad decline as struggling oil prices hit energy shares.

The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE fell 32.88 points, or 0.27 percent, to 12,163.09. Eight of 10 main groups were lower. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; Editing by Jeffrey Hodgson)
