CANADA STOCKS-TSX tumbles on global growth fears
TORONTO, May 20 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index joined global equities to end lower on Thursday, with commodity issues leading the slide, on concerns that austerity policies for weak euro zone countries could hurt European and world growth.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 283.33 points, or 2.43 percent, at 11,382.44. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Rob Wilson)
