CANADA STOCKS-TSX gains as energy shares rebound
TORONTO, June 2 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index rose 1 percent early on Wednesday afternoon as robust U.S. economic data helped oil prices climb, pushing up Suncor Energy Inc (SU.TO: Quote) and other oil and gas shares.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE rose 115.64 points to 11,687.61, with eight of its 10 main groups higher. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; editing by Peter Galloway)
