CANADA STOCKS-TSX rises as resources rally

TORONTO, June 14 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index rose in early trade on Monday as commodity prices gained, signaling growing confidence in the global economic recovery.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 67.64 points, or 0.56 percent, at 11,734.56, after briefly opening weaker. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; Editing by Peter Galloway)
