CANADA STOCKS-TSX turns positive as materials shares gain
TORONTO, June 16 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index turned positive shortly after the open on Wednesday as commodity prices pared losses, helping to boost shares of some energy and gold mining companies.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE rose 0.88 of a point to 11,908.42. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
