CANADA STOCKS-TSX pushes higher as Europe worries ease
TORONTO, June 17 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index edged higher at the open on Thursday, aided by strength in gold miners and market optimism spurred by strong demand for Spanish bonds, which calmed jitters over euro zone debt troubles.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE climbed 5.84 points, or 0.05 percent, to 11,926.89 at the open. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
