CANADA STOCKS-TSX gains, materials boosted by record gold
TORONTO, June 18 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index advanced moderately on Friday, led by the materials group, as record bullion prices sent gold-mining shares higher.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE rose 16.73 points, or 0.14 percent, to unofficially close at 11,962.70.
