CANADA STOCKS-TSX extends fall as energy, banks weigh

TORONTO, June 24 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index fell more than 1 percent late on Thursday morning as energy and financial shares were weighed down by renewed doubts about the pace of global economic recovery.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 119.72 points, or 1.01 percent, at 11,687.78. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; Editing by Peter Galloway)
