CANADA STOCKS-TSX ends higher on resource shares; RIM falls
TORONTO, June 25 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index closed higher on Friday as strong commodity prices pushed up its weighty resource sectors, offsetting a dive in the shares of BlackBerry maker Research In Motion RIM.TO.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 35.34 points, or 0.3 percent, at 11,705.52. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; Editing by Peter Galloway)
