CANADA STOCKS-TSX rebounds to close higher for 3rd day
TORONTO, July 8 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index turned higher late on Thursday in a see-saw session, helped by a rebound in most sectors as confidence in the global economic recovery was buoyed by a drop in U.S. jobless claims.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE rose 44.54 points, or 0.39 percent, to provisionally close at 11,441.81, its third straight day of gains. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Rob Wilson)
