CANADA STOCKS-TSX tumbles as weak oil, gold prices weigh

TORONTO, July 21 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index dropped 1 percent on Wednesday afternoon as weak oil and gold prices pushed down the index’s heavily weighted resource sectors.

The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 119.19 points, or 1.02 percent, at 11,510.69. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
