CANADA STOCKS-TSX rises on strong results, U.S. data
TORONTO, July 27 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened higher on Tuesday following a fresh batch of solid corporate earnings and upbeat U.S. housing data.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE opened 11.09 points, or 0.09 percent, higher at 11,757.16 before extending gains. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; editing by Peter Galloway)
