CANADA STOCKS-TSX ends lower on earnings, U.S. data

TORONTO, July 28 (Reuters) - (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index ended lower on Wednesday as investors took a cautious approach in the face of weak earnings reports, mixed commodity prices, and disappointing U.S. economic data.

The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 30.17 points, or 0.26 percent, at 11,686.52. (Reporting by Cameron French; editing by Peter Galloway)
