CANADA STOCKS-TSX turns positive on gold strength
TORONTO Aug 6 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index turned positive shortly after the open on Friday morning as strength in gold miners overcame an early decline sparked by weaker than expected Canadian and U.S. jobs data.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE ticked 0.04 of a point higher to 11,774.81. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
