CANADA STOCKS-TSX falls as U.S. data intensifies worry
TORONTO Aug 25 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index was broadly lower shortly after the open on Wednesday on gathering worries over the outlook for the global economy, underscored by a far smaller-than-expected rise in U.S. durable goods orders.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was off 34.33 points, or 0.3 percent, at 11,523.02, after opening slightly higher. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Peter Galloway)
