CANADA STOCKS-TSX retreats as gold miners weigh
TORONTO, Nov 1 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index turned negative on Monday afternoon, dragged down as gold miners dropped on weak bullion prices as the U.S. dollar recovered from earlier losses.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE slipped 1.82 points to 12,674.42. Eight of the index's 10 main groups were lower, pulling the overall index from its highest level in more than two years, reached earlier in the session.
