CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher as resources rise
TORONTO, Nov 24 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened higher on Wednesday as commodities firmed and investors switched focus to upbeat U.S. data from tensions in Korea and European debt worries.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE climbed 1.93 points, or 0.02 percent, to 12,795.68 at the open, and then quickly extended gains. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
