CANADA STOCKS-TSX drops at open as commodity prices fall
TORONTO Dec 15 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index fell broadly at the open on Wednesday, led by weakness in the materials group as commodity prices fell.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE dropped 53.39 points, or 0.4 percent, to 13,226.69. Eight of the index's 10 main groups were lower, led by a 0.44 percent fall in the materials sector. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Peter Galloway)
