CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower as commodity prices fall
TORONTO, Dec 16 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index edged lower at the open on Thursday, dragged down by weaker commodity prices as mixed U.S. data kept investors cautious about economic recovery.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE fell 5.36 points to 13,223.71 at the open. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
