TORONTO Dec 22 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index was little changed at the open on Wednesday, as gains in the energy group were offset by mild losses in all other sectors.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 3.75 points at 13,368.90 points at the open, then turned slightly lower.

Nine of the index's 10 main groups were down in early trade, with the exception of a 0.09 percent rise in the hefty oil and gas group.
