CANADA STOCKS-TSX closes higher as oil shares show strength

 TORONTO, Dec 22 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index
closed marginally higher on Wednesday as firmer energy issues
offset a drop in materials stocks.
 The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
.GSPTSE unofficially closed up 15.55 points, or 0.12 percent
at C$13,380.70.
