TORONTO, Dec 23 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock market index fell broadly at the open on Thursday, weighed by weakness in resource issues and a slightly lower-than-expected reading on Canadian economic growth in October.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE opened 30.82 points, or 0.23 percent, lower at 13,349.88. Nine of 10 sectors were lower.
