CANADA STOCKS-TSX claws higher as resources reverse course

 TORONTO, Dec 23 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index
turned positive early on Thursday afternoon in light
pre-holiday trading as resource stocks climbed.
 The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
.GSPTSE rose 3.94 points to 13,384.64. The materials group
was up 0.57 percent while energy stocks rose 0.18 percent. Tech
issues were also modestly higher, up 0.03 percent.
