TORONTO, June 2 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index climbed on Thursday, helped by higher oil and gold prices, recovering a portion of the steep slide suffered the day before.
Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE rose 5.37 points, or 0.04 percent, to 13,533.25 at the open, then quickly extended gains.
